I experimented with pressing paper pulp mixed with Plaster of Paris into latex molds I made from vine & leaf shapes on an old piece of molding. I could make as many of these shapes as I wanted and once I had a sufficient quantity was able to build a Renaissance styled Green Man on a plaster bandage base. I have since learned that while the plaster adds strength the pieces are still brittle and break easily. I now add Sculpt-or-Coat to the paper pulp & plaster mixture to give it greater strength and flexibility.
