The director, Jeff Elwell, wanted to set this production on Cyprus during World War II. Looking at bombed out buildings for inspiration we created a space that mirrored the levels of the Elizabethan Playhouse. This is a rendering for Venice which included canal poles, a broken pediment, drapery and doors.
